Depends on your body and what temperatures you plan to ride in, but in general basic fleece gloves aren't going to keep you warm if it gets really cold because they offer no wind or water protection.

Apparently aldi have some similar gloves to the above ones in the link for runners, I might try them out first

+ 1 for Sealskinz. I use the KJ791 Mountain Bike Glove

Than said I have just been looking / trying on the '10 version of the Altura Night vision glove. The latest version is made up of 2 gloves, inner and outer, giving 3 possible combinations. I am tempted because while the Sealskinz are great they can be too warm on mild wet days.
