I had been searching the Internet for a a step through bike with adequate gears for the terrain in Sheffield and settled on Dawes Mojave only to find that they weren't available anywhere locally. I wasn't prepared to buy before I try, so had given up on the idea. Then a few weeks ago I found out about a local scheme that provides a bike and accessories to try for four weeks which you then either return or buy and it turned out to be a Mojave, which I will be picking up on Monday!

Then much to my delight, the cycle to work scheme started again on the 1st and I am just about to place my order for a Brompton M6L!

WooHoo!

Noooooooo!!!!!!!! Don't!
Move to a bigger house - at the bottom of the hill
Think the electric bike will go, it served me well in my days of need but I can manage without it now (though I did use it when I had a cold last week)
The pretty vintage Raleigh can go, I've only ridden it twice and it's totally impractical for where I live.
Probably will keep the mountain bike as it will do for my 14 year old step son when he comes to stay and my 10 year old will grow into it soon.
Decathlon folding bike is to be donated to the OH. We'd already agreed it would be handy to have two folding bikes for taking on weekends away etc.
