World record attempt in Hastings/Bexhill, Sat 12th May

The "Seaside Rendezvous" event on Saturday 12th May is being organised and co-ordinated by East Sussex County Council and Sustrans, featuring an initiative by local cycle groups to set a world record for "Kissing Bicycles". Our goal is to attract over 1,000 bicycles lined up with wheels touching along the new Bulverhythe Coastal Link between Glynde Gap, Bexhill and St. Leonards.
Event will be on the seafront at Glyne Gap , I have heard rumors that it will start around 2pm, but will confirm nearer the time...
