Saturday was a day to remember! On a 2 lane road with one lane bus and cycle lane but a left turn at the junction. I was at the line in the primary with a bus behind me and in the background heard a car revving its engine coming down the road. This car had come between myself and another car with two males in it. I knew what he was up to and didn't rush myself off the line. The lights had turned to green but the car didn't move so I set off and in about my 3rd pedal I heard an almighty sound to be cut up by this car which turned left.

It had been raining and the road was wet, The car had set off at such a speed to cut me up the driver lost control. The car had crashed in to the kerb/railings, bounced off kerb/railings going to the left to mount the kerb and knocked down a road sign. At this point I had came to a halt in the junction with the bus inches away from bumping me off.

I rode towards the car when the driver sped off at high speed with its horn on and a flat front tyre which amazed me and others. So it was one of them no insurance or a stolen car. At this point the bus driver came to me to see if I was alright and see what happened to the car which vanished.

Myself and others were so shocked when the car just drove off like they didn't care. I got home which I made a police report of the incident which would be best.

So it was one of them no insurance or a stolen car.

At least you were unhurt. "Pool " cars are the problem where I work, I can no longer cycle to my unit because of them, the driving is just wildly unpredictable. Not sure what the police can do, these cars are dropped off and picked up via mobile calls, throughout the day and night.
