Xmas Pressie Time for kids

So what are the alternatives for a large ten year old who prefers more of an upright bike? He's outgrown the Beinn 24 and is about the size of a 12-13 year old so will fit something out of his age range. Any ideas that won't break the bank? The Islabikes Beinn 26 is a possibility as is the Creig 26 which is a lovely bike but a little pricey. Any others?

What sort of riding is he doing ? Mine wanted a BMX for his birthday and whilst I was initially reluctant he is hardly off the thing. A fine investment.

Well he isn't tbh because the bike is too small for him now. He has a BMX bike but it is old and heavy. He likes it because it is closer to his size, but he isn't a BMX rider. He really enjoys the off-road stuff.
