6.30 am. A 12 mile bike ride from Mondeville on the outskirts of Caen, Normandy, to the ferry terminal at Ouistreham.
8.30 am. A 6 hour ferry crossing to Portsmouth then a short bike ride to get my car at the Holiday Inn Express off the A27.
2.30 pm. A 470 mile drive home. Thankfully a clear run home so arrived here 10.30 pm.. Well done the 12 year old Corolla with 108k miles on the clock and still running like a dream!
Wouldn't like to do that every day, but actually quite enjoyed the journey.
