Your bike next to a ford (water splash)

Nonya ford - first still is where Moss Houses Beck joins Cockhill Lane & the second is where they part company.
I low sided here a couple of summers ago. Last time I went through they were in the midst of resurfacing the section where the road and the stream run together. It was deeper than I expected as they had removed a chunk of the stream bed to set the new stones. Stayed on the bike but for one bit both my feet were under water on the bottom of the pedal stroke.
This time it was even slipperier than that first time I rode through and came off.
I caught both crossings on camera.

That's true. Not sure I will be having another crack at it any time soon. The path to the side looks rideable if required.

MBIFO a rather floody ford with a few large obstructions, too, behind Billing Mill.

Not supposed to be a ford, but, as usual, Sustrans 6 floods under the railway line by Kings Heath.
Recently, the water has been a foot or si deep on the ledfe, making it between 5' & 6' deep on the actual track!

I've put up a photo f this ford in Llanblethian before, but it is usually not much more than a trickle. More water in it today than I've seen before.

Definitely too deep & gravelly to ride through!
