Another slightly funny one. Out comes Xmas pud and in traditional fashion, FIL set light to it. Unfortunately he had put too much brandy on it and had spilt some on the table.

Pud lit but so did the trail as it shot across the table on fire towards my SIL. BIL tried to put it out with a paper napkin.

Another feckin call this morning. TV in back room is now not working. Bear in mind my FIL bodged all the connections I am expected to fix it. Ive been in bed in agony last two days on pain killers. Think I will tell them this as this is a mickey take.

The water went off for 5 hours on Christmas day. There were 8 of us at the inlaws, which made toilet flushing somewhat tricky. We had to introduce the "if it's yellow, let it mellow" rule.

ran out of tobacco on Christmas day... but not a problem as there's a lovely little Asian shop around the corner that never closes... only he'd decided to close early ... so i had to spend ten minutes cycling to the 24hr garage on quiet city streets on a lovely dark and windless evening... even made a few pointless detours just so the return journey wasn't quite so quick

Cannot get an appointment until Thursday, if it gets worse tomorrow I will call back, I have a history with this stupid ear so they are generally quite good at getting me in earlier if need be. This is why I cannot scuba dive because of ear issues

Our Daughters three week old laptop would not play her dvds.Ok not a major prob.So my wife and daughter went to PC World,Now a lovely sales girl took it, with a full shop all buying, and mended it.Thank you PC World Leeds centre store.

He's 16, he wasn't upset. I gave him and his brother their new t-shirts instead.
