Mine was truing up the wheels of a colleagues fixie....

Front now within 1-2mm

Rear, true for most of it 1-2mm, but as it's been bent in a crash - it's not perfect....... but the lad is made up as it's just a 5mm kink now, not a jelly shaped wheel. He's happy as it's a spare part fixie !

Spoke tension is right out on the rear though, as it was that bent - talking 40 mm deflection left to right when he brought it in, and egg shaped.

Both wheels would normally be in the bin, but this should keep him going for a while.

What's your good deed.....

The silence is deafening,
although I would have thought this could morph into a discussion of whether true altruism exists,

Nowt as yet but so worried am I about the fact that an incredible 5 public houses in Britain are closing every day, I intend to do my bit tonight and if the mood takes, may extend my patronage to more than one hostelry.

Please; "hero" is a bit too strong. I'm just happy to do my bit.

I did one yesterday, when I noticed that as well as my son's wheel being flat that another kids was even flatter... so I pumped it up and left a note on his bike to let him know who had done what to his bike. I did know whose bike it was, I'm not sure I'd have done it if I didn't know.

Wot: " Hey Lady I've got your bus pass. Nah, nah, na, nah, nah" and then legged it.

No, she would of picked it up, told the women and help it up high in the air(shes over 6ft apparently) so the old lady couldnt reach, then carried on walking saying, "come on, jump, you can reach it, jump"

My good deed was nothing today, last week i did help someone push their car off a main road, went to the warehouse with the guy from te paper shop on wednesday of this week and last week because hes had a hernia op' and cant do heavy lifting. The trolley was loaded, pretty damn heavy with all the big packs of pop. The amount of fags he bought was amazing, and he said they only lasted about a week  Big big money on fags.

Good deed for the day - bought lunch for a girl at work as she'd left her work pass at home. We have a cashless canteen and you have to charge your work pass/canteen card via a machine in the canteen. However this was not a totally random act of kindness as I have an ulterior motive;)
