When I went to the National Cycle Collection @ Llandrindod Wells a few years back I swear that in the stock pile of unrestored bikes on the first floor they had my old Royal Enfield "Firefly " that Dad bought for me , second hand in 1950. Could not prove ownership though.
Now, 65 years on , overtaken by nostalgia for 70,s machinery what do you suggest would be the ultimate either in restored or re-manufactured equipment that would be a collectors zenith ? They have a N.O.S. HETCHINS NOVUS DUCTOR the right size on eBay at the moment.

I'm pretty chuffed with my 58 Royal enfield Zephyr. When Ive looked on the net I've only ever found pictures of 2 other of these. Just need to finish the second one I have.

I find the bikes from the 50s have some great paintwork and would love to be able to have the funds to collect more, even if it's only frames. Would also need a bigger house lol.
