Just stumbled across this video on youtube, I'd heard the story behind the song Hello Walls before but here's Faron Young and Willie Nelson talking about it. Not sure what TV show was but there's also Waylon and Kristofferson hanging around, have to watch again and see if I can't spot any others.

Great find I rec, for me anyway...

Feel free to add any other pointless tosh you find or just take the piss, I couldn't give a rats arse either way.

I tried, I really tried (with you in mind) to watch 'Country music at the BBC' the other night and once I'd stopped giggling I'd managed about 4 songs before I had to go and classify my toe-nail clipping again. I admit to liking the occasional C&W song (I even own a Glen Cambelt album), but try as I might C&W either makes me giggle or just bored (and I do try and listen to the links you post).
C&W is hugely popular though, so I must be missing something ....

The thing with country is that all the men in the songs are either sad tossers or in denial. Art reflecting life, eh. Meanwhile here's a man called Tracy keeping it real:
Cool. Wasn't Willie Nelson a nice clean-cut boy before he discovered the demon weed!
So were Bill and Ben.

Point of order: do you need to put 'minority interest' in your thread titles. I mean you posted it, so pointing out the obvious is superfluous.

Just sayin'

Come on Fabbers, if you can't get on with these two the problem is you, I suggest it's for the best if your wife leaves you, your dog dies, you get completely wazzed and crash the car, lose your job and then kill yourself.

Mind you, you are from Abingdon...
