Having recently moved house I've ben unpacking boxes left right and centre over the past few days. Yesterday I unpacked most of my collection of bottle conditioned beers, amassed in the early 1990s and including quite a few strong Trappist beers. As I was putting them on a shelf, I had a road to Damascus moment and realised some of the stronger ones might still be drinkable. I'm half way down a wine glass full of Maredsous 10% Trappist beer from around 1995, and by gum, it's good stuff! :becool:

You kept a bottle of beer intact for 14 years? You are one sick puppy.

Enjoy.

There's another sixty or seventy downstairs. Sadly, most of them are no longer drinkable. :becool:
