zwift crashing dns settings

fun last night

every time i ran zwift the internal network card on the laptop would get dns errors and disconnect forcing me to manually restart the card , signal strength is good and everything else in the house was still connected .Investigation testing other apps including RGT did not cause the error.
I rebooted the router, reinstalled the drivers and eventually deleted and reinstalled plus patched zwift .
Fingers crossed i have sorted it as i spent over 2 hours faffing about rather than riding

When was the last time you ran Zwift. Not used mine for a few months, but it wouldn't run when getting it ready (updating) prior to bad weather. Might actually use it today.

Anyway a quick google found this was common after various updates, so I re-installed the app.

Running in an old laptop or PC could be problematic. I bought an i5 NUC dedicated to run Zwift, TR, Bkool. Its been rock solid

I'm sure you already checked this, but is the app whitelisted on your antivirus/firewall etc.?

it was the zwift app. reinstall sorted it
