Recently reunited with the former pro and fully restored. I used to love that Bennoto bar tape, you could stretch it really tight so you could feel the brake cable running along under it. Just how I like it, no cushioning though I suspect I'm in the minority.

And check out those gear ratios, 40x25 for a mountain stage. That would make a sportive mamil vomit in horror. And a 52x13 top gear, should be of interest to those who think you need 53x11 to go fast.

The lowest gear on my bike a similar 42/24. Even a shallow gradient feels like a mountain stage.
