Anyone ever sold a domain name?

Someone has been in touch to say they want to buy a domain name I own. I'm not sure I want to sell - it was for a project I want to run in retirement - but if I did, how do I go about it to make sure I don't end up paying too much for the legalities?

Any ideas?

I think it costs something like £11 - you should be able to find out before concluding the sale, and make sure that any fee is included in the sale price.
But sell it or not - up to you. But bear in mind you are paying year by year to keep it, which is a bit of a waste if you are not going to use it for some time.

I sold one for £5,000!

I made damn sure that the deal was done safely by going through an escrow process, and stipulated that the vendor paid the fees.

Yes, that's whats making me think I may sell. Doesn't cost much per year but I have another couple I could easily use.
