seriously? This man.

For all the achievements of the Olympians, nobody, but nobody comes close when one asks these two questions

a) did he or she pull off the impossible?
b) has he or she got a winning manner?

Current odds Andy Murray 11/10, Mo Farrah 2/1, Laura Trott 9/2, Jason Kenny 10/1, Max Whitlock 14/1, Gareth Bale 20/1. Chris Froome down at 40/1.

These are reasonably reliable indication of who will win, one of the top three above

If Laura Trott wins I'll eat my cycling shorts. Zero chance. Don't confuse "deserving to win" with "likely to win". Minority sport in which there is already a history of GB winning

Team prize: Leicester City (GB Womens' Hockey honorable mention)
Individual prize : No stand out. Not Froome, he's already won and he's a bit boring. Same for Murray. Probably Mo Farah

Maybe they could break with tradition and go for a joint SPOTY - Laura Trott and Jason Kenny; awwwww .
It would fit with the agenda of trying to turn them into the new Posh 'n' Becks.
