Oh it started off as the usual standard. Discussions about X, a minor tiff about Y, and then someone drops a bombshell.

I won't be able help out next week. I'm being sucked off...

Everyone in the room looked at each other. I bit my tongue to stop myself from laughing. The guilty party lowered his gaze and said quietly:

One of my best ever was where two people called each other the wrong names, completely innocently but consistently for an hour. I loved it. Gordon was mistaken for Howard (wtf) and a Nigel was mistaken for Mike (again, wtf). Bliss. So stupid. So pleasing.
