Aretha Franklin "I say a little prayer for you"

Aretha puts so much feeling into about 3 minutes. I have to stop and listen whenever this is played.

Ooh to many to choose from for all different reasons.

But going with : Your love is King by Sade reason is because I just love it

Impossible to choose sorry. As an old git mine seem to be connected to memories more than quality.
Can I mention a few ?
•Do you Love me by Farons Flamingos as I watched them perform it in the Cavern around 1962.
•Young Girl by Gary Pucket......from when I met my (to be) wife.
• Bridge Over Troubled Waters......the words got me and Sue over a difficult period.

Sorry but I can't pick just one.

Pet Shop Boys with Dusty Springfield.
The poppy sound of the PSB is transformed when Dusty comes in with that distinctive voice.

Well ... I didn't expect THAT! It's a perfectly nice song, don't get me wrong .. but I don't see it in many top tens :P

Anyway, just to redress the balance with an utterly predictable pick, you can't go far wrong with
Teenage Kicks (which I believe was John Peels "best ever pop song")

And for a (slightly) lefter-field choice: Good Vibrations.
