Thanks for your thoughts all, a few replies below.
That's part of the problem - I'm already using SwissStops with upgraded Tektro brakes removed from my Boardman in place of the even worse original items!
Wish it was N+1 - I'm having to introduce a strict one in one out rule so the Triban would have to go

As I said, it's only a consideration at the moment. I'll have to see how much the car's MOT & service set me back and probably see how this winter goes.
