Never done an 'event' before so seems like a bit of fun to challenge myself for 60 miler.

Any one else up for it? if so are you doing 35 or 60 miles?

Although it was technically a charity fun ride, It was actually a pretty good intro to doing an 'event' as I want to do the 140k sevenoaks sportive in September and didnt have a clue what to expect (although will probably be more hills that a 60 miler across Romney Marsh), last 5 miles hurt like hell though although wanted to beat 4hours I did it in 3hrs 41 mins so quite pleased, gives me something to beat next time and some perspective for when estimating event rides.

You guys seem abit pro for this event but if you know of any family friends that fancy it there's a free tour being run by Berkeley Homes in their Canterbury (Kingsbrook Park Development) from 11am-3pm.
