Just finished watching this on BBC2.

Thought it was a great film, but can anyone explain what the heck it was all about.

It was a great film because you didn't know what it was about but still cared.

I love that film and stopped trying to understand it second time I watched it. I do imagine though that the director has a little soulful spark about what it may be about in his wonderful imagination though.

The actual film is nothing but an extrapolation of the protagonist's confusion.

It works because it's like a teen movie smashed into something david lynch, yes, like eraserhead.

The film is genius because it has a feel good factor, yet you have to brace yourself for it.

Just googling the director, richard kelly, he really has done nothing else.

He's been working on a kurt vonnegut thing though, and that for me shows that he must have immense good taste.
