Nice one. Agreed it's a top ride, and I should have added - I don't mind the cost when an event is so up front about it being for charity, as opposed to those that are just out and out obvious profit makers.

Seeing where you're located and knowing the hills around there I assume you found the Fred easy!

Yep, I'm the same. We treated it a a long weekend with a bike ride as part of it.

Haha, yep. Didn't find the route too bad to be honest. Plenty of hills here too like you say!!

Family holiday destination since I was 2, so 39 years so far and counting. Lovely place and many friends made over the years - just wish I could visit more. Mind you, I've only ever taken the bike there once last year when training for a trip to Ventoux.... Wales was harder!
