you are blessed with the super power of momentum as are many of us. You will excel at carrying speed from a down hill into an uphill making short climbs easier at speed but defeated in long grindy hills. You will have a great time passing thin guys who are pedalling down hill while you silently and elegantly coast by.

It doesn't need to. Muscle mass is still mass. And if you are carrying too much of it (without the necessary improvement in power), it will slow you down, regardless of whether the mass is contained in a backpack, or in some awesome pecs, or quads.
Sort of old chum. Muscle mass is still mass, it still needs to be moved, it still weighs a bit. However, unlike a bag full of weights its not inert mass, it's working mass capable of contributing towards forward motion, depending on where on the body it may be. Somebody who weighs a bit more than another because they have hulking great endurance cyclists legs weighing them down might not be at a disadvantage.

Well, an accidental overdose of gamma radiation, and now when they go for a ride and become mad or enraged a strange metamorphosis occurs...
