My carbon Guerciotti frame is in pristine condition but the transfers on it (white flashes and embellishments) let the side down. How can I remove them completely as any fix looks like a bodge.

If they have not been lacquered over, a hairdryer warm them up peel them of, clean of residue with WD40.

Since the decals/transfers are lacquered/clear coated over it can't be done is the right answer

Most of the time.
I have successfully shifted stuck on decals from both wheels and frames with my Karcher but not when they're 'clearcoated' over.
Mind you it gives me an excuse to post a version of one of my 'anthems' from the 70's although sadly not the original version.

Seriously though if the decals are under a clearcoat then the only way to remove them is to have the entire frame sanded and refinished.

Who mentioned sand blasting, I use a water jetwash to remove stuck on decals but as yours are under a Laquer/clearcoat that obviously can't work so the only way to remove them is to have the frame re-finished the same as you would have a Motorcycle (Carbon fibre) Helmet custom painted.
