Well, write it down boy ......
I've had three Cree lights sets (T6) for three years, I used gaffer tape to seal the battery pack and they've been great. On the lowest setting they last several hours. The lights benefit from a fresnel lens in them which gives a much better spread of light.
I also have two other twin lights jobs, the battery pack for one came ready waterproofed. One is a Yingding, can't remember the make of the other and I've had these for a year.
Their beam pattern is a bit more throw it everywhere, so I use these sparingly on the road.

I like the Cree lights.

PS, the O ring mount isn't the best, so better to buy a separate mount for the lights, they are readily available.

Have used a couple of cheap Go Pro mounts off ebay to mount the front light
One of these fixed to the handlebar stem

and one of these modified by removing the tripod bolt (results in a slight breakage to the area around the hole) fixed to the screw hole on the Cree light with a suitable M4 bolt and washer. The bolt I had was slightly too short so filed down the protrusion on the top of the mount.

Have also fixed one to the rear light and am waiting the arrival of one of these to fit onto the back of the luggage rack

I use a Hope mount as its quick release. Works out about £8 and fits really well.
