Also think about the problems you may have with them if you do puncture out on the road.
They are excellent tyres and well recommended but my last experience of fitting them, about 10 minutes a tyre, but with numerous pinch punctures in doing so added up to 2 hours of frustration, of fitting them, removing them, fixing puncture, repeat process etc, left me thinking this would not be good out on the road with an unlucky puncture and possibly in inclement weather, not far off being dark, miles from home, so I replaced them with Specialised Armadillos which so far have been as good as the Marathons without the hassle of fitting them.
Anyway off for a weeks fishing now and get away from it all
