Yes. :okay:

well - he will finish 5 minutes before his bike if that peak gets any bigger

so no from that point of view

from the point of style - well that's a no as well

great for making him look stupid
and presumably aerodynamically it works to some extent

but if that goes any further it will encompass the whole front end of the bike - there has to be limits - and I would suggest that that has gone past them

Oo! Yet another comedy helmet to make sporting cyclists look even more ridiculous. I wonder what his peripheral vision is like in that?

Better than with previous designs, according to the article.

It's basically a fairing, isn't it? Could they somehow extend it to cover the entire cross section of the bike and rider?

Oh I love Starballs. It's one of my favourite Richard Moranis films, along with Ghostchasers and Corner Shop of Horror.

Looks stupid but ... given the current head-down approach at least it means they can see where they're going. I time trial but there's no way I would wear one, even if I could afford it.

It's ridiculous side on and front on it's almost as wide as him.
I think we need some ruling.

I'm sure the UCI will come up with a ruling about how far the helmet can extend over the handlebars, stem or bottom bracket. 😁
I saw this on the television the other day, and I think it does look silly.
