I wasn't there, but I reckon averaging nearly 19 miles an hour is pretty impressive for a nine-year-old. .

I just hope it is the kid that wants to do well in the sport and not the kid's parents.... But worth keeping track of that kid I reckon
 
I was amazed at the bloke who finished 1st in the Etape Caledonia, 35kph for the 130km and he had two p'tures (a Finnish Bloke from Aberdeen, there something about that sounds wierd :biggrin::o). All credit to his club mate who has finished runner up 2 years running and instead of pushing on for the win himself stayed to help his club mate fix the p'tures.

Another one I find amazing: I Just watched the coverage of some amateur event in Britain and for the stage they were averaging around 44kph :sun:
