How do you mow your lawn?

yes been there done that,

and one of these which are enormous fun, but strange cornering dynamics, which you clearly need to master early doors when cutting a cricket pitch outfield!

I did also start doing the massively overgrown lawns at the OH's parents cottage in France with a scythe I found out there, as it was too long long even for the strimmer that followed, before the self propelled petrol mower finished the job. I had wielded a scythe at thistles back in my "being a farmers son" days.

For my lawn I use a Hayter Harrier which I bought second hand in 1996. Strong engines, nothing fancy to them, just routine servicing keeps them going.

I have lawns front and back but only mow once or twice a year. Prefer wild flowers and insects to a barren lawn.
