Yes very sad. One of my fondest memories was at the Apples and Pears in Rotherhithe in the early 70's when they played Rondo by The Nice. We all had hair then and shook it wildly. RIP

No, but I have met him ( he's a bit of a nob) a huge hero of mine when I was a teen . First album I bought was Pictures at an Exhibition.

The rumour at the time was that a roadie would reel out a huge snake of cable through the audience so that Karl Palmer could have an authentic "spontaneous" guitar freak-out. Happy days.
