I've got a feeling that the Thames Festival is on this weekend, so there should be some special stuff on/near the river with the odd bridge closure thrown in. Have fun !

WOW!

It was an extended sundayride..........

So Rapto and i set off straight for Harrods and then on to the museums which were a bonus
we then turned around and headed back to hpc with R showing off her new found speed (turbo trainer)

Then it was on to t sq and over to the eye , now the plan was to ride along the southbank no chance
the thames festival was on so we walked and enjoyed the views.

We made our way to the tate modern and crossed the bridge to St Pauls all the while stopping to take pics

So then it was on to covent garden (which was closed) and leicester sq (which was open) and very busy.

By this time it was midnite so we popped over to piccadilly to enjoy the lights and it was home time.

17 miles in 4 hours and the view from outside the LWT building over to ST Pauls is to die for.

London is good in the day but in good company it's fantastic at night .

Thankyou Miranda

Just about sums it up nicely TC - where were the fire jugglers?
That was gabrials wharf on the river bank

I can't believe only two people turned up for this ride.
[/quote]

It was better this way, we were walking for 2 hours taking in the displays and sounds of the festival
(had there been more people we would have pressed on and missed so much)
and also remembering where we had worked over the years all over the tour
