I'm never happier than when there is frost at the side of the road - just so long as there is no ice on the road surface. You can always wear more layers and cycle yourself warm. Scorching hot, sunny, dry days are nice to loaf about in, but hell on wheels when cycling.
I would have agreed with you when I was big, but now that I am approaching slim I am feeling the cold a lot more and am wearing 50% more kit than I used to.

Some bits of me are starting to look skinny, but the last couple of inches on my waist are taking a lot of shifting. I will drop another few pounds but might have to give up on getting a flat waist if it is going to mean the rest of me looking gaunt/skeletal, and shivering every time the sun is obscured by clouds ...!
