An Orca would be nice (my carbon is a little cheaper than that). I used Orbeas design service and speced my own bike, an alu Asphalt frame, carbon forks with a 105 triple groupset:

I didn't know they offered a design service. Nice set up mate. What wheel set did you get. And what are those yellow tyres your running? I'm still yet to see another orbea rider on the roads.

Well done, SoP. I must have missed your earlier posts. Also have Orbea, Onix purchased 12 months ago and love it. Or did till last weekend when I fell over and have done some damage to rear seat stay - no idea how. Going to not-so-LBS at w/e to see what advice they have.

The wheels are R500s, the tyres Michelin Pro Race.

I bought the bike through the now closed Skinnywheels near Northampton. All Orbea stockists should do the custom options, you used to be able to do it on the website but that no longer seems available. It's not clear from the photo, but I have my name factory painted near the stem. I had to wait 8 weeks for delivery, but I did order it in June whilst they were in the middle of the main tour season and the specialist build shop was tied up rebuilding bikes for the pro teams.

Orbeas are becoming more popular, the company is certainly expanding in this country with more dealerships coming up to speed.

So did you pick the colour scheme for the frame aswell? Love the tyres. I'm still running the standard vittorias that came on it. But was thinking of maybe upgrading to something a little better in the coming months.
I didn't have a clue about orbea when I came across this bike. It was a good price and people on here gave me the thumbs up so I went for it and haven't regretted it all. Rides lovely, changes gear smoothly and is better specced than other bikes I had been looking at.
Need to get some pedals and shoes which I'm probably gonna get this weekend.

Hope it's nothing too serious and you can get it sorted.

I picked the frame colour from five options, the others were based around blue and black, I thought the yellow stood out.

Tyre wise for your bike, plain black looks good, you could go with black and white combo like:

Or if you really want to go mad, all white:

You don't see many round here, although my mate knocks round on a black and Orange one(onix I think). It's good to have something different from the rest!

Yeah addict it's good to have something a bit different. I'll keep my eyes peeled for your mate. I now find myself checking out other people's bikes when I'm out. Think I might have seen some of the guys from your club last week. I'm sure they were all wearing the club jerseys but I could be wrong as we passed quite quickly

I like the look of the black and white ultremos. Don't think I'd go for all white. My mate has white tyres on his bianchi and they look a bit grubby after a few rides.

Some of the lads do a training ride along the coast on a Thursday evening, I try to get along when work allows.

Nice, I've got a Orbea Aqua TTG.

Like you, I'd never heard of Orbea but now I see them on the pro races all the time and they're one of the oldest bike manufactuers out there, certainly in Spain!

I'm pretty sure it was some of the lads from your club, I was looking on your website and I'm sure it was the club jersey they had on. I gave them a wave and a smile. I've been using the coast road as my midweek training route.
