After closer inspection I think it may just be a crack in the paintwork.

If you're not sure it still may be worth getting it checked by the shop, at least you've reported it and if it continues or gets worse and develops into a crack you've got it on record.....

P.S. Just changed my tires due to getting soooooo many punctures, i went for Vittoria PAVE EVO, they are expensive, they look really CRAP on my bike (check out my link), but went out on it yesterday for a long ride and they are soooo super smooth and comfortable they were and are worth every penny!

Nice, if I get another puncture soon I'll be tempted to change.
