You may want to join the National Bike Challenge. You need to live in USA or have USA Co- workers Here are the official rules and a link to the site. It's designed for fun and encouragement.

ELIGIBILITY:

1. The National Bike Challenge is open to all persons who either live in the US or work for an organization with U.S. employees.
2. The Challenge is offered free to all individuals, workplaces, schools and organizations.

I do not think your workplace needs to participate. You can sign up as an individual. I guess they are trying to limit the participants to those that have some type of relationship with USA. You should check out the rules and/or just try to register.
