I know Rock Racing like to play up to the bad boys image, but this is just crazy. Hamilton, Sevilla and Mancebo being given second chances - regardless of the fact that they are surely all guilty of various offences - is something I can handle, but I cannot see how this is anything other than courting controversy for the sake of publicity. What will he add to the setup?

I would think that the UCI, ASO and other cycling organisations will be looking very hard at Rock Racing and the first time they can throw the book at them it will be quick and hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean Dave5N, but I'm hoping that the changes that have happened within the UCI with the departure of 'the Dutchman', may have hardened their resolve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't think so.

McQuaid persuaded ASO to get rid of Patrice Clerc because of his robust anti-drug stance at the Tour.

UCI are still in business of covering-up, brushing it under carpet.
Their stance is anti-bad publicity, not anti-drug.

I'm fairly impressed with Gripper, but whilst the clown McQuaid is still there, with or without his Dutch puppetmaster...
