Yep. Great series. We also met them, and John Sergeant, at different times filmimg for their shows. Our boat and I appear fleetingly in Sergeant's episode in Llangollen.

They came into my shop once and I said, "Hello, can I help you?"
And he said, " Can I have a tube of Araldite, please?"
And I said, " Rapid or standard"
And he said," Rapid, please"
And I said, "As quick as I can, Timothy"
And he smiled politely

Watched their Canal travelling programme on Ch4 tonight ....what a delightful hours viewing it was ..what a lovely couple ....just saying like....anyone else watch this ?

Yeah watched this, they are a bit "luvvie" (unsurprisingly) but I do really enjoy it.

My brother, who is a Barger* supplies several "Tuts" every episode.

*Apparently, they don't like being called barges - its a narrowboat, I'm told. but I don't listen to Bargers.

The general idea is to avoid contact, but steering something this size through gaps a few inches on either side results in occasional scrapes

My wife met them both, a number of years ago. Same conclusion - very luvvy, but a lovely couple too.
