New Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth line entrance is on Dean St in soho.

And Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus have entrances in Soho, and buses run the entire length of all it's "border" roads.

According to this link, "If you are travelling by tube, the closest London Underground stations are Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Piccadilly Circus, all of which are just a few minutes walk from Soho."

I think markemark is claiming that Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Piccadilly Circus tube stations are in Soho. Most guides on the web say that they're near it.

I took the wife down to that London last year and we took a wander round Soho. I was last there in 1991 - what on earth happened to it? Bland and boring now.

according to all known facts, your original "factoid" statement is bullshit, and your just digging yourself further down a hole

You obviously know better than the people who write the tour guides then.

Did you see the map I sent which showed you where the station is? It’s google. Pasted again for ease of reference.

There’s plenty of other maps showing it on the same place. But feel free to show me a map that has it elsewhere.

To avoid any doubt here is also a map show the area of soho.

You can see Dean St, where the Lizzie line station is within it.

Again, feel free to share a map that is different.

So yes. The tour guide website is either wrong, misleading or (most likely) outdated.

What is on the ground trumps a tour guide. Possibly that is just out of date, as that is pretty new (opened May 2022).

This image suggests that they think it is in Soho - right on the edge of Soho, admittedly, but definitely Soho. The whole of Dean Street is within Soho according to everything I have ever known, and that is on Dean Street.

OK - but that's a Crossrail service and not a tube station.

It’s a tube station. Tottenham Court Road is a tube station that has northern, central and Lizzie line running through it. All can be accessed by the new entrance on Dean st.

You can get the northern line tube and exit though the dean st exit straight into soho.

Yes and no.

The Elizabeth line is Crossrail, and not considered part of the tube network. But you can get to that exit from any of the lines using the Tottenham Court Road station, including the Central and Northern tube lines.

Your Thisissoho guide does actually mention it under Crossrail (though still saying "closest", rather than "in").
