Removing oil from an eVent jacket

after asking a similar question a while ago regarding my Yellow High Viz Gore Phantom.. i was recommend WD40... worked a treat

Aha. Spray it on, rub it clean while wet then wait to evaporate, presumably?

Exactly....the oil floats to the surface and can be wiped away.

My hi-viz jacket is all oily, right down one side, after the bike threw me onto a diesel-covered road, at a roundabout. I'll try the old Fairy liquid in the first instance, because I hear that it's kind to the hands that do dishes too. Any other top tips, please share.
