I think that I may have heard the name Cracknell before but if pushed might have suggested that he had been in one of that Redgrave bloke's boats once. I'm afraid sports in the sense of watching as opposed to doing hold little fascination for me apart from rugby which is always a good spectator sport.

With a bit of Sherlock Holmes effort you can glean some news from the Twitter links and blogs, but FFS. . . . It's pathetic!

After an hour+ trawling the net including joining the stupidly non-intuitive twitter I've given up trying to find some up to date news about the record attempt.

The only two pictures i could find are one of some indistinct lights in the gloom in the far distance behind a welcome to prescott sign and a mediocre side on shot which could do with some simple cropping and lightening so you can make somethingout.
