Locally-caught fresh prawns in a stir-fry with mixed vegetables, ginger, garlic, sweet & sour sauce, coconut milk, tabasco, red wine, cold beer, coffee and cognac.

Doesn't all that booze and coffee make the stirfry a bit soggy?

This evening: all home made. Herby beef meatballs in a tomato sauce with pasta. Salad picked from my own garden and from my neighbour's garden. I'll cook a bit of extra pasta & the hens will get it as a treat. They adore pasta in olive oil & pepper.

Tomorrow's dinner: roast free-range organic chicken (local) with lots of veggies from my lovely neighbour's garden, as he provides me with lots of wonderful produce from his veg patch. There'll be new potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets, courgettes... YUM.
