"Trolling", exactly?

I know that helmets should be worn at all times by cyclists who take their lives into their own hands by riding on the road with the traffic; but are they really needed if I only ever cycle on the pavement?

If you're going to fall off and bang your head on a pedestrian, make sure you're wearing a helmet so you win. Ideally a big metal helmet with horns. Like the ones Vikings didn't wear.

Is this going to be worth buying popcorn for?

The helmet is also handy for keeping your ipod headphones in place as well, after all you can't cycle without some inspirational music blaring.

Yes, peds are far more unpredictable then cars ime. Far more likely to come off and hit your head. And if that does not give you a headache then the civil suit will, if of course you were riding illegally.

In your experience? Experience of riding on the footpath? Civil lawsuits?

Probably not, but I'll do my best.

Should cycle-lanes have their own lights, which change ten seconds before the main lights?
