Around January onwards I've been practising scales on & off amongst other things which has led to a bit of a technique epiphany, in as much as like most beginners I was guilty of using one or two fingers when looking at tabs, but doing scales, and finger stretches, means it's sunk in about using all four fingers when playing, and being able to curl my thumb over the low E when needed too, as an aside I've been having a go at John Mayers Slow Dancing In A Burning Room, I've got the first bit down, and it's dawned on me just how far I've come, I've just got to remember that on the days nothing seems to sound right, here's the song in question by the way.

How can they justify the cost of this Les Paul copy? They are 'only' making 300 of them?

FrankenFender, originally a 2003 MIM Standard Precision. Neck went bad, so it's mainly had various Jazz necks since. this one is from a 2014 American Special Jazz Bass.

Despite the teeny tiny amp, this is a pretty loud rig! The two One10s will happily handle 500W RMS, and considerably more so long as the signal is clean.

I've just cashed out of a spare pension plan (long and boring story) to the tune of 68 large.

Now I need to decide between a 4003 or a 4003S, and then find somewhere that actually has one in stock.
