Read the obit of George Jacobs in yesterday's Telegraph (not that I buy it), he was Frank Sinatra's valet for years until Ol' Blue Eyes heard that George was seen dancing with Mia Farrow, who he was divorcing at the time, and sacked him.

The obit also makes reference to super-agent Swifty Lazar, agent to many of the big names in Hollywood, from the 40s to the 80s, although it makes the mistake of stating that Lazar would only walk on clean towels, in fact he used to throw clean towels over sofas in hotel rooms - he sent his shirts to be cleaned in London though. :becool:
I'm seriously tempted to buy Mr S, George Jacob's book about life with Sinatra.
Me too, checked it, and Swifty's, on a couple of non-tax paying sites yesterday.

Billie Fleming, most famous for distance cycling, she cycled 30,000 miles in 1938.

What a woman. I love this

Despite the advent of bikes made with lightweight alloys and fitted with multiple speed gears (a trend Billie thought ridiculous — “three is plenty”) her record is thought to have remained unbroken to this day.

You should try it 3gearsmcginty.
