Bike Impounded because it was "too ugly".

Rolling By - Amsterdam beneath the window.

Just when one cyclist has passed from in front of your car...

...another comes by. Yes, you could be there all day.


Everyone waits. EVEN Porsche drivers wait.

Rubbish. They were all proper bikes!

That Amsterdam photo page is quite old, but it brings back good memories. It brings such a warm feeling to the heart to see so many people, males and females of all ages, on bikes. It's like a different universe compared to here. I love it.

In fact I'm scared to go Amsterdam again, because of how bad I felt when I came back here to all the cars. I really did feel glum.

They should have impounded her sunglasses instead of the bike.

Cycling round Amsterdam was great, though having experienced the trauma of cycling back from Waterland into a headwind can report that there are some downsides to Nederlandish riding.

The strange thing about the Amsterdam photos is that EVERY bike is rolling from right to left. Must be a one way cycle path.
