I think you're being a bit modest about this scale you've invented. It's customary for scientific units to be named after the person who did the pioneering work in that field.

The Chuffy as a unit of Abitrary does sound quite good though.

The Stevens and Flying Monkey could be possible spontaneous symmetry breaking mechanisms.

Is the arbitrary a derived unit? We've already used A and W though so couldn't think of a suitable easy symbol.

Surely it wouldn't have to be an A, it could be any letter, since the choice would be arbitrary....

So what letter hasn't been used?
