What's a decent bike lock please ?

The Bikmo regulations seem similar to the ones I saw on Yellow Jersey

Thing that is worrying me is how accepting they will be if your bike is stolen

Has anyone had a theft and contacted the likes of Bikmo and Yellow Jersey and what questions did they require an answer to - and what evidence did they require?
I mean - clearly if you have a clear phot taken when you left it and have possession of a D-lock clearly cut in half then I presume they would be fine.
But I don;t want to have to take a photo (and hence have a camera/phone) with me at all times

and do they require evidence that the lock is Gold rated - do they expect you to keep the packaging?

As you have the lock you can prove which on you have and as Sold Secure have a list of approved products. You show its approved. I can prove it as the locks I use are from Hiplock and the keys are registered with them. It's the only way you can get spare/replacement keys.
If all that fails Hiplock are Bikmo recommend.
