Yesterday - a big condenser mic and a mic stand; today a pop filter screen thingy for the mic to stop my 'p's popping, my 'b's bopping and my 's's, er, sibilanceing.

I am going to be using the mic in my attic 'studio' and I noticed that the floor shakes slightly when large vehicles drive past outside so I think I will need to order an anti-shock mount next to reduce transmission into the mic.

I noticed yesterday that they have dug up the bowling green in Hebden Bridge park and landscaped it for customers of the adjacent cafe.

It struck me that I had never seen anybody using the green before, except for local kids playing football on it.
