Noodley, if you got your sewing machine out

you could run up a pair of curtains.

My cats can run up a pair of curtains without having a sewing machine!

Do people actually run up the stairs?

A colleague of mine who is 58 still runs up flights of stairs. He's a speed skater and sees flights of stairs as training opportunities.

8 replies in 6 minutes. Is that a record?
Only because everyone sprinted up the stairs to get to their PC and post a reply!

OK then, I'm 59. To be honest I don't really sprint up stairs any more (as if I ever did ) but I still take them at a brisk pace. If you can, you can do it, no question. If doing it gives you angina or persistent palpitations, off to the doc's with you!
