It's for carrying rear panniersWhat is that rack arrangement on the Scott?
Nice photos. I rode up to Col de la Croix de Fer on September 15, 2016, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Where was the 2nd photo taken?2016, based at Bourg d'Oisans,

Our ride up to la Croix de Fer was our only day when the weather was a little 'iffy'.
2017 vacation beckons, in just 3 weeks time.
Yea I twigged that, though thought it looked more useful for a rackbag. Where does it come from, not seen one before? It's for carrying rear panniers
We picked that up at my sisters local bike shop in the NetherlandsYea I twigged that, though thought it looked more useful for a rackbag. Where does it come from, not seen one before?
Our ride up the Croix de Fer was on 5 Sept 2016. The only day when the weather was not good. I really enjoyed the ride up. Of course, I should have recognised that: I've also ridden up the Lascets de Montvernier, on the 26th of June this year. Our ride up the Croix de Fer was on 5 Sept 2016. The second image is at the bottom of the Lacets du Montvernier. A fun ride with hairpins every 1-200m, but continuing up to the top of the Col du Chaussy was quite testing. The descent back down the other side, with gusting crosswinds was entertaining in places.
